Galerie Loft presents his unique portraits\u2014large-scale paintings\u2014in which he depicts his subjects abstractly. Their faces, silhouettes, and bodies seem to emerge through a veil of water, a curtain of rain. Complex lines and strokes with a hyperrealistic rendering fill his works, which require months of work. Liu Baomin uses a palette of vivid colors, where his subjects, distorted by the water, reinforce the complexity of the artist\u2019s visual vocabulary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
