A major figure in Narrative Figuration, Jacques Monory explores in his works worlds where dream, memory, and reality intertwine.

In the 1970s, blue became a visual signature: a cinematic color that envelops images in mystery, solitude, and strangeness. At the boundary between reality and imagination, his paintings invite us to view the world as a film scene, oscillating between fascination and unease.
