Liên Hoàng-Xuân
17/10/2025 — 30/11/2025
From October 17 to November 30, 2025, the Galerie de l’Académie des Beaux-Arts (Galerie Vivienne) presents an exhibition of works by artists in residence at the Villa Dufraine, curated by Andy Rankin. Among them, Liên Hoàng-Xuân explores light and erasure in a poetic work where the end of the world becomes a revelation.
Hosted at Villa Dufraine in April 2025, eight artists, brought together by curator Andy Rankin, present the culmination of eight months of research surrounding the bicentenary of photography.
Under the title “A Barely Veiled Sun,” they explore the notion of catastrophe—not as an end, but as a revelation, an opening onto other possible worlds.
Among them, Liên Hoàng-Xuân unfolds a sensitive body of work where light and erasure engage in dialogue. Between photography and installation, she explores traces, persistence, and memory, making veiled light the site of a poetic revelation.
