Philippe Huart was born in 1953 in Clamart. His work explores the effects of advertising, marketing, and consumption on our unconscious. His painting is thus based on the concept of “objective reality.” Pictorial perception is primarily “visual.” It is fundamentally linked to forms and rhythms. Philippe Huart’s works do not depict everyday objects, but rather their “signs.”
