Raphaëlle Bertran presented by Marc Desgrandchamps won the 1st prize of the 25th edition of the Antoine Marin Prize awarded by a jury composed of the artist David Hockney, the art critic Richard Leydier, the painter Iris Levasseur, the gallery owner Kamel Mennour, the Mayor of Arcueil Christian Métairie, artists Gabriela Morawetz and Pancho Quilici.
Since its creation in 1997, the Antoine Marin Prize, in close collaboration with the city of Arcueil, has welcomed many visual artists. This policy of aid for young creation enriches the programming of the plastic arts. Each year twelve young artists are sponsored by twelve renowned artists. Following the consultation of the members of the jury, three prizes are awarded. The Antoine Marin Prize is the desire to exhibit young creation, to help it develop, to create encounters and to promote beautiful artistic adventures.
