With Château de l’Âme, Parvine Curie creates a sculpture reminiscent of a sanctuary, in which architecture becomes a metaphor for inner life. The power of its volumes, the simplicity of its lines and the balance of its forms give rise to a world imbued with serenity and mystery.

Echoing Romanesque art, ancient civilisations and Mediterranean architecture, the work seems to bear the traces of centuries within it. The material, at once a physical presence and a vessel of memory, shapes a contemplative space where light and spirituality converge.

More than a structure, Château de l’Âme is an invitation to an inner journey, a symbolic place where silence becomes a language and the mind finds room for reflection.

Parvine Curie: Sculpture Opens Up Space

What is a sculpture by Parvine Curie? Certainly an object, the result of meticulous craftsmanship, whose physical qualities assert themselves to our gaze, our sense of touch, and our entire body. (…) For her sculptures are above all places, spaces that sculpture unfolds and defines. Indeed, her sculpture does not simply occupy a place; it has the power to transform and open up the site in which it stands, making it welcoming and hospitable. The third dimension leads us into the fourth, which brings the past and the future into the present. Sculpture gives our being-here its true presence. This is an experience, not a theoretical concept: the discovery of a work in a specific place (…).
