REMARKS

«The structure «TRIBUTE to Brunelleschi» was developed in relation to the Finanzbauamt’s building plan and to its topography. The problem was to establish a correspondence between the extremely varied masses in its architecture. My concern was therefore to organize the structural masses so as to create a truly harmonious bond with the architecture of the building. The idea is to make these two elements dialogue like two human beings, until one imagines that it is one architecture within another kind of architecture. It is like one heart sharing another and their living with each other in osmosis. This is how I saw and designed monumental art in relation to architecture.” Marino di Teana, January 1989
